Daniel Melton

Daniel Melton, B. Mus.

Guitar Instructor
Originally from Hiram, Georgia, Daniel holds a Bachelor of Music degree with a concentration in jazz guitar performance from Georgia State University(GSU). Daniel has studied music overseas in Shanghai China at ECUST and has performed along side the GSU Jazz Band with jazz greats Donny McCaslin, Joey DeFrancesco, Mike Abene and Bobby Shaw. In addition to his experience with jazz music, Daniel has also performed extensively in the Atlanta area with the Rock/Metal group Tortus, Coop3r Drumm3r, the GSU marching band and as a solo artist.

Kathryn Allen - Guitar

Kathryn Allen, B. A.

Piano, Guitar, Voice

Kathryn began playing piano at age 7, and will never cease yearning to learn more. She won her first music award in 5th grade for an original song. Kathryn holds a BA in Theatre Arts with a Minor in Music from Meredith College. She also completed the curriculum for Audio Engineering at UNC-Asheville. With seven years of collegiate level music education, she works to be a well rounded musician, with the goal to inspire young minds to love music as she does. She has lead as well as performed in many musical groups, from choirs to theatrical music direction to local bands. In addition to her involvement in local theatergroups Kathryn also teaches piano for SAS Music.
